Experiment #1: Creation/Consumption Monitoring -Part 3

It's been two weeks since I have started the creativity v. consumption experiment. While I believe that I have not done a lot of consumption, this could be because I am working very long hours at work and have not the time to devote to either creation or consumption right now. I am tempted to start adding my work hours to the “bank account” but I know that creation is something that you attempt to do to “feed the soul”, not necessarily as an occupation.
It is easy to think that, as we work long hours at work we are “creating”, only to turn around and realize how much this has made our lives bankrupt.
Therefore, I will stick to my original plan of not including work hours, even “after hours” work, as creation time. This makes it hard for me to keep up the experiment since I start falling under the “all work and no play” category of life, but I think that I find myself in the place of many people, work long hours then go home and vegetate to social media or Netflix or TV. I might be at the extremes because of my current work condition, but this is even more reason to be cognizant of how I use my time when I am not working; especially using that time for activities that may not help with my passions.
